The Strasburg Public School Parent Teachers Organization (PTO) is dedicated to serving the students, teachers, and parents of the Strasburg Public School. We are so appreciative of the help you give us in our concession room on a yearly basis and the support you provide to our other events. The funds we raise from food sales, clothing sales, fruit sales, ect. are used to fund various items, projects and events in our school.
We contribute to a variety of things that directly affect the students of this school hoping to alleviate some of the financial cost that parents/school would have to provide. We have provided money for Grandparent’s day, Dad’s day, the elementary Halloween party, the Christmas candy bags, student incentives at the end of each 9 weeks, end of year elementary field trips, end of year elementary last day of school party, Junior High basketball uniforms, stage spot light, speaker system, stage curtains, Jr Class Close up trip, and new desks and chairs for the HS students to name a few.
This year we want to focus on improving and adding to our current playground equipment. We will be selling raffle tickets sometime in Oct/Nov to help raise money for this project; we have some really great prizes and the kindness of those donating has been overwhelming. We also want to assist in getting 2 sets of basketball systems for the commons area as well as considering other items that may be suggested by school admin/board members, teachers, and students.
Our PTO minutes will be posted on the newly improved Clipper website. If at any time you have any questions, concerns or suggestions please contact a PTO member. All parents and teachers are welcome to join us the 1st Wednesday of every month.
The HS girls/boys basketball concession schedule will be ready to view in October. Mr. Kleinsasser doesn’t have the 5/6 boy’s BB schedule or JH girl’s and boy’s BB schedule completed at this time.
